This is a late post, but none the less KoS finally downed the the Lich King on 25man Normal difficulty on July 7th 2010. Good job to everyone involved in the kill and the preceding wipes as we tackled this fight. ~Dega

Dungeons and Dragons Online EU going Global + F2P |
|
Jul 31, 2010 - 4:42 PM - by Markey

Turbine have announced that they will be taking over DDO EU and merging it with their NA servers to make it a true global service. The current EU players will be having their toons transfered to the global servers towards the end of August.
What this means is that KnightsOfShadow will be moving to the new free to play Dungeons and Dragons Unlimited game and will be looking to open up recruitment. Of course all current KoS members are more than welcome to come take a look. The game has moved on leeps and bounds over the years so is well worth revisiting even if you tried in the past and did not like.

Blizzcon 2010 |
Mar 29, 2010 - 6:23 AM - by Nitro

Blizzcon has been announced for October 22nd-23rd this year!
This year Lisa and I would like to rent a house with a swimming pool for a week instead of staying at a Hotel. This would be easy to do, great for having a KoS Party and much cheaper than staying at a Hotel. We could rent a 4-6 bedroom house pretty cheap, anyone interested? Please post your interest in going to Blizzcon 2010 in this thread and if your interesting in renting a house with us post that too, we could get it down to as little as $60 a night per person. To compare most of the decent hotels in the area will run you $100-$150 a night. Food will be alot cheaper this way as well, we can get a place with a nice kitchen & BBQ outside and make all our own food. Lisa and I will likely just go to Costco and buy a ton of food/munchies/beer.
