1: Why do you want to join KoS: I want to be in a hardcore guild again that gets things done and puts my efforts to use, i know you guys know how to get things done ive seen that in RF.

2: What can you bring to KoS: Loyalty, commitment to the guild, some laughs and im also planning to play very hardcore in Aion as ive been waiting for it for a while now lol. Really i cant wait

3: What games have you played and what were your achievements: Alot i could list but i wont go to far back like Neverwinternights and Diablo but from CS:Source Enemydown leagues i moved onto..

WoW(EU) - Achieved Rank 14 i was the first Druid on my server to hit High Warlord, then went to PvE with the top guild on the server clearing all Endgame Content

Then i played RF some of you might remember me as a Cora named "Swifty"

After RF i went to join my old CS friends in CoD4 but soon got talked back to WoW for Wotlk - in Wotlk i returned to clear all end game content again and played some 2k+ rated arena but i left before we finished Ulduar hardmodes

4: Why have you left previous games: Lack of interest and not enjoying the way some games were going

5: What other guilds/legions have you been in:
WoW : Equilibria, Perfection and in Wotlk i followed Perfection members to Conspiracy

RF : Started in Equilibria with friends from WoW they got bored so i followed some friends to Apex

6: What were the reasons for leaving your previous guilds/legions: My WoW guild stayed in WoW, as for Apex i left them mainly because i left RF but also because i never really felt like i fit into Apex

7: Will you take orders? Can you take criticism from our officers? How would you handle it: Yep no probs and i can take criticism

8: Have you ever grouped with KoS members: No unfortunatly i dont think i have

9: What PvP experience do you have in previous games: I have experience in almost all the games ive played from Large Scale pvp, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 to 5v5 etc i love to pvp tbh something ive not had enough of lately lol

10: What PvP experience do you have on your current character: Nothing really other than some duels on CN Aion

11: Any other Aion related experiences you'd like to share: I played in the Chinese Aion open beta thanks to some great guides i found to signing up etc i managed to get on so i could get a feel for the game, i was suprised for it to feel abit like RF in controlling lol maybe it was just me and i tried the classes i wanted to. I played as much as i could but lag and disconnects (can't wait for my new isp) were abit of a setback.

Unfortunatly i had to miss the Closed Beta for NA/EU this has really annoyed me, but as i was away from the country visiting my family like id planned last year there was nothing i could do about it, but im back now and badly looking forward to open beta lol.

Also im preety sure ill be a templar but still looking into Sorcerer.

Also, just curious, does the name "Swifteh" come from something? I've seen elsewhere with a tagline to boot: "I'm swift eh?".

Nah ive only been back in the country since the weekend ive been in Italy the past 3 months :D im searching for a good place to preorder the NA copy as im from the EU doesnt seem the official site will let me order the NA version lol gamestop.com seems decent cant see there being a problem, know anywhere reliable i can get it from ?

I took the name Swifteh back when i was playing CS 1.5 and my clan leader replied to someone in chat "he's Swifteh?" he meant "he's Swift eh?" as a joke but his typo stuck with me ever since for some reason :smile: so thats where it came from.

Hoping Open Beta will be announced soon so i can start to blog about my game experiences like you guys want but untill then just reading up more about 1.5 patch and more about high lvl Templar pvp seems they can compete nicely if played well.. thats at least the feeling im gettin from watching some of Korean Tournament Vids and reading what people say.

There is some nice stat boost items and the NA serial code is sent to your email immediately on pre-order confirmation. Set-up your NCsoft Master Account as normal (dont need proxy) as the serial code identifies which region for the game account. Make sure you set the Advanced Tab in File/Settings to "North America" region when you start the launcher.

Yeh im all done on the preorder side got my confirmation emails etc created the aion account.

Dwnloaded the fullclient from Fileplanet using the download manager and it failed lol was reading many people have had problems with the 1.5 full client from Fileplanet it screws up the setup.exe.. been told the way to solve the problem it is just direct download it via Firefox so ive just started that.

Edit: Just wanted to update i got the full client installed but its Displaying as Aion(EU) they are supposed to be the same so as long as i have "North America" in the advanced Region settings its apparently fine, also i was getting an Error "Program not available in your country" but was reading i should reinstall Aion and just leave it alone untill Gameguard and stuff updates on 31st August.. i should get a response from Support aswell today so with any luck i should now be ready for Open Beta.

Servers are down seems a good time to blog, started with alot of horrible lag 1k+ ms then back down to 300 :P got a free 30 day trial for open beta at lowerping.com now that has fixed everything

Loving the game at the moment i will edit this post more as the servers are up so im gunna go back to lvling :D

Edit: Ok so after a great start fixing my lag etc became a Templar headed to Altgard then i got d/c after being afk and so the troubles started (even with my proxy) ping is going up and down from 100-1k+ bad rubberbanding etc but reading a fair few are getting this even people using the same routers one is getting nice lagless play the other is being raped >< but despite the lag i forced myself to lvl 11.5 but now im gunna get some sleep while the servers raping me.. :P according to Ayases twitter they are working on it so hoping it gets better.

Really wish i could of lvled more :(

Xtops gonna kick my ass for this but I have to ask, is the lowerping.com really working then? I was playing flawless the first 3 hours after that 1k+ ms :S

Well when we all first started when i was using no proxy i was laging like crazy with a constant 1k+ ping after using that it went straight to 108-120 and was smooth as hell to play really enjoyed it but now im being picked on by the server like some others but hoping it will be better when i wake up.

Going to use this post so i dnt double post alot, just wanted to let you guys know ive been trying to get on for a while now login screen likes to just do nothing after entering the right info and when i do get in my connection is still going from very stable to completely unstable.

That said the servers are coming down in 10 mins so hopefully it will be ok when the servers are back its been driving me crazy lol as i want to lvl xD not gunna stop if i get on ok after ><

All is great now it seems, been pushing for lvl 20 today just logged off to go out at 18.7 so im well on target going to get back in asap :) the more i seem to lvl this Templar the more im enjoying it so im now basically 100% on being a Templar looking forward to doing more :laugh:

Glad no lag/disconnects now :). it's hard to do anything with 1467887 ping... trust me I know the feeling. I'm happy you're set on Templar :D, ad you see we need some good tanks, which we have, now just need them higher level ^^. keep updating and coming into vent, post some screenshots.

Ok :D heres a screenshot showing my new shield and the Legions sexy new banner/cloak <3 i will start taking more screens from now on then.

Anyway hit lvl 20 today got my first stigma nice attack boost for 30 seconds really comes in handy, helped Robin etc get one of their quests done today liking the way tanking seems to work only thing i couldnt find is how to bind the mark mob stuff to my Number Pad.

Looking for somewhere to lvl now as im done in Altgard all but the Blackclaw stuff need to try and get that done when i can amazingly no1 needed a Templar before lol

Just wanted to add that i havnt slepted more than 1 hour the past 2 days because of people ringing me just as i go to sleep rofl this is my 3rd day up now because i gotta wait for some stuff to come via post so my brain is prob gunna be fried today but oh well time to get back on Aion and use this time i have :D

Hope the guys that i tried to help with the slow login or "cannot connect to the auth server" are having abit of a better time now if the fix worked :)

Hey guys sry i wasnt on last night and earlier today i lost my internet in the afternoon so i rang my isp they said they were doing something to my connection as ive only had the fibre optic cable put in last week and that they would try to get it back up asap.. only just got it back today :(

Not sure how much ive missed but its been driving me crazy not being able to play anyway yesterday morning i got the blackclaw elites done with a radomn group it went great was alot of fun especially some of the overpulls when the ranger accidently glided into about 8 elites but we survived lol

Looking forward to getting back on will take some more screens and blog again soon :>

Hey peeps well i think ill start with last night logged on when i got my internet back got to work on lvling then i hit 23 and started to do some of the quest chains in Morheim well i guess i picked a fun time to do the ones i was doing as there was about 2 groups of elyos pvping lol so i hooked up with some radomns i was with and started pvping (Hello Kitty Style) :cool: .. was really alot of fun especially thanks to someone sending me the Templar Pull Stigma skill (Must have in pvp tbh!) i kepted baiting them to chase me and when someone tried to run i pulled them in for the kill :) my only bad move was i didnt hit that print screen button at all :< im not used to really trying to get nice screens and some of those last night would of been great sorry.

Anyways today i woke up and suddenly realised its friday :(( not long left of OB im only 23 really not been able to use the time ive had the way i wanted >< ... anyway today i really wanted to try and get my connection running ok without using the proxy.. ive been at it a fair few hours tbh checking different things people have posted.. trying some stuff myself but im really happy to say i seem to have found a fix in the form of a nice script, before when i logged on without my proxy i was around 400ms-550ms now since my change im at 110ms-170ms (without proxy server) =D at least it should save me a extra few dollars on the proxy i was gunna buy :wink:

Good job leveling; I think you're the highest tank last I checked. PvP with Templars is pretty cool, I love the pull skill too :D. Are you feeling solid on staying a Templar? Looks like your doing good, keep at it.

Hey guys hit lvl24 last night after i got home from my brothers (he split up with his mrs so was alot of fun rofl ^_^) not been on today as he decided to get himself arrested in Manchester today so i had to drive up there to pick him up :arghh:

Xtops yeh im 100% now on going Templar got a Sorc and Assasin to lvl 10 to give them a try and hey Raaji yep much appreciated you tried to save me that once but i like to push my Temp to see what i can get away with :>

Hit lvl 25 today was grinding alot at the elyos camp got some new skills and now im just really looking forward to live now been looking at some of the skills to come like at lvl 31 i get a skill that gives me 100% of my health back .. win.

Heard something today that the templar pull skill is being resisted all the time in pvp but ive not properly tested it yet hoping to get that done today, if its right then thats a major bug if u ask me and needs to be fixed asap ^^ though there isnt much about it on the forums etc so im not sure.. maybe not enough people have the skill.

Anyway lookin for someone to help me test that later maybe in a test duel or something or ill just go pvp :P

Hey all just wanted to say thanks as beta is nearly over n ive really gotta catch up on some sleep been great to meet the guys n girls ive met so far :)

On the last bit of my beta experience i didnt do to much except fight lolyos from time to time in Morheim, run around dueling people, messed around with crafting definatly going to pick up alchemy in live, annoyed at myself i couldnt lvl higher and faster but i feel rdy for live now and lookin forward to next week.

Shame the rift sucked tonight tht i came along with really wanted to get some pvp in with u guys :(
