Holy Paladins:

For fights like Mimiron or General, you really don't need to spec into Divine sacrifice to help reduce the damage done to the tank.

Divine Sacrifice is a third tier talent that reduces all of RAID and PARTY damage by 30%.

Paladins get a spell called Hand of Sacrifice anyway without talents, which does the same thing but, to a SINGLE target.

If you are a paladin that uses 5 into Divinity anyway, consider this, when you go down to Divine Sacrifice, you are using up 6 talent points that you could be using for other healing spells.

Although the OP is concerning pve.
Would like to add that Divine Sacrifice can be useful for PvP due to it not being able to be dispelled and the fact that any target taking damage will in turn have the cc breaking effect that the single target\dispellable Hand Of Sacrifice would have.

Also, I believe retribution pallys can feasibly spec in to this atm, and it can help in fights with heavy aoe dmg.

Yeah, we really dont have any other points to put into.

I personally dont spec into swift retribution because of this.

I think when it comes to pallys there are cetain skills the Divine Sac. That will change sometimes patch to patch on what one of the 3 specs uses it due to having extra points or not. Definitely a nice utility and its also bugged atm when you use it with your bubble it does not limit the amount of hp it will absorb. I could only imagine how useful this would be to have a divine sac ret pally on anub 25 phase 3.

btw, where you been lately? work and school kicking your ass?
starting to miss you.
