-Kinji- 85 druid Balance/Resto (Current Main, ilvl 362 with pvp items filling out both sets)
Quenji- 85 mage Fire/Frost (Former main, current 355 ilvl)
Qballer- 85 Death Knight
7 other alts, 1 of each class ranging from lvl 40-84.

-Age 24

-I've been playing wow since about 4 months after release, almost always been on Arthas.

-Since Vanilla I started in Thriller got through aq40, Had a brief stint in TG at the beginning of BC but mostly in collision force, CF turned into Disdain before WOtLK which i've been in ever since.

-Disdain has been a 21+ gaming community composed of mostly older raiders where respect and maturity was a standard of raiding.
-Currently looking to push content into heroics, I am currently 12/12 and ready to learn and push the heroic 10 content.

-As a ranged raid leader I have been giving criticism in raids for the last 2-3 years. I can except and admit when I make mistakes and am willing to try new strategies or rotations. I try to understand my class and role to the best of my ability but always looking for tips and hints from others.

-I have been a hardmode 10man raider during the wotlk and dedicated 25 and 40 man raider for years. I really enjoy being able to take 3-4 hours straight in a night and push that time to the limit. I usually have a browser open on the side during progression with a video from tankspot, wowhead.com description, and a forum post or two from other wow sites. I look ahead to new bosses a week or two before as well as trying to find pov videos for my class. I feel seeing the fight online before attempting it saves me a lot of time learning which might save a night or two of wipes.

-I do have vent and working mic. I'm used to being vocal in raids, calling out boss abilities that are upcoming, dps switches, bloodlust, various things like that. Also I'm always engaged in either tells or a healer or ranged chat to help others on assignments and coordination on encounters.

-Improving my gear is a passion. So far I have been very unlucky with drops on my druid. I have only 2 pieces in guild runs over the last 4-5 weeks. All other gear I received in pugs during the Christmas/New years holiday. I enjoyed the 3-4 day grind for the NE archaeology trinket. I also pvp to help round out my gear. I prefer some of the pvp epics over the pve blues. I am always looking for possible upgrades and deciding what drops I would like to roll on before the raid. I am very prepared on what I need that I will use and what I would want to pass on because of it being a side grade or better for another class/spec besides what I am playing.

-In Cataclysm I have switched mains from a mage that I have raided on since vanilla to a druid. I am beginning to excel as a boomkin keeping 14k dps and above on all fights, hitting upwards of 20k dps on gimic fights. I am really into min/maxing and working on my dps. As resto I am working really hard to round out my spec/gear choices. After a few attempts on a boss I figure out the best times to use cd's and mana potions and coordinating mana regen abilities with the other healers. I have recently completed the nefarion encounter on 10man normal and at first I was going oom mid-way through the 2nd phase, however after 3 attempts I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong and overhealing during certain crackles and was able to overcome that and down the boss.

-As stated above I tend to do a lot of research on bosses and their abilities and how to counter them. I currently have 12/12 normal bosses with a few attempts on various hard mode bosses. I would prefer to be in a group at least 10/12 that I can help push to 12/12 and work on heroics soon.

-I do strive to be the best. As boomkin I want to max my dps as well as make healers life easier. Using tranq or spot healing on certain fights like Chimaeron is a great example of why I love playing boomkin. Also as resto I strive to be able to do any healing. Tank healing, raid healing, or both. I love being able to push my healing the max while not going oom in this expansion.

-Progression is definitely my goal, I understand that you won't get gear if the bosses do not die. So I am always focused on downing a boss first, then eventually i'll get the loot as hopefully content will become easier to complete each week. If I happen to not win a roll next week or another person needs something because its a bigger upgrade, then I think its best to give it to the person in the group who needs it most to help progression. The group is greater than the sum of its parts.

-Currently on my college internet which has no problems and my computer is up to date with no lag or latency issues.

-My schedule is so that I work only on Tuesday nights, every other night of the week I am free to raid and if anything happens to come up for work I am able to post an MIA. But I have held 90-95% attendance for the last 5 years in raiding. In every guild I have been in I have worked my way up to officer status based on my hard work and dedication. I have experience leading raids, being a ranged and mage class leader as well as being a vocal leader of the group. I prefer to work hard and eventually earn my spot among the dedicated group. Hopefully my availability of any night but Tuesdays will fit into a group and that I can be a good addition to KoS.

I was looking at your spec and choice of gear and had a few questions about the reasons behind your choices.

For starters the PvP gear would be far better if you had the 2pc kodohide or 2pc wyrmhide as intellect is by far our best stat followed by Haste, hit/spirit then mastery. Also the Justice Point helm even though it has lower stats would be a significant upgrade over the PvP helm because it has spirit on it and large amounts of spirit/hit on gear can be difficult to come by at times.

Secondly your glyphs make no sense when looking at your spec. Fungal growth even with wild mushroom being our best AoE spell is situational at best (Cho'gal, Nef and maybe Magmaw if you have no DK's). I would even venture to say that gale winds paired with glyph of hurricane would be a better use of talents and glyphs for Cho'gal and Magmaw. Glyph of Hurricane gives you a 50% slow and due to the movement of the adds on the two fights I just mentioned Hurricane and Typhoon give you more utility.

Dreamstate while still our best regen talent is a non essential talent in raid gear. On my druid (355 ilvl) I am rarely close to running oom on fights unless I stop to heal or I make a mistake and don't push into an eclipse prior to some serious movement (Atramedes Air phase). Moonglow would be a much more efficient use of talent points because it reduces the cost of all your spells thus allowing you to use glyph of innervate providing the raid with even more utility. More often than not you should be using your innervate on a healer rather than yourself anyway, so with glyph of innervate not only do they reap the benefits of your innervate but you also get a good amount of mana from it as well.

I realize that your current spec/glyph setup is probably fight specific, so any feedback you could provide would be extremely helpful.

Thanks for your input Daddy, Right now I've been pretty much switching between boomkin/resto in my current guild and have been having terrible luck on drops. Really been hoping to get the helm off atramedes and shoulders from random mobs or omnitron so i've been mix and maxing with the pvp gear I have currently. Not the best but keeps me hit capped. In the resto set I wear 2 piece kodohide for the 2piece and the wyrmhide helm simple because it is my best piece and prefer it over the blue simply because I have no mana problems.

Glyphs have been changing depending on raid setup. Mostly been healing on nef and cho'gal. Leaving me with hurricane glyph simply for magmaw. One glyph I would likely change out is focus for rebirth or possibly innervate like you suggested. In my resto spec I do have innervate to either trade off with another resto druid for max benefit or with another healer. I spec into dreamstate rather than Moonglow simply to save 1 talent point. As boomkin I rarely have mana problems and healers have never needed my innervate. I hardly ever use hurricane except for magmaw, but dreamstate does return 50% of my mana pool which I feel is better than moonglow while also saving a point for owlkin frenzy. If I was to focus on Balance I would try to test out a few different talent/glyph selections to tailor towards the raid comp.

I could probably tinker with a few resto talent points to be more effective as well. Thanks again for the feedback and depending on raid comp I'd be willing to change specs/glyphs around to be more efficient.
