Found this little gem on mmo-champ:

I was looking for an in depth 4.0.1 BM guide, but was unfruitful. This one, however, has some nice rudimentary specs/gemming/shot priorities and tips for all three specs (all subject to change at 85 of course). Also has some nice charts for choosing pet buffs and what pets you need to acquire, I shall link them below:

The chart of pets, pet families and what buffs they provide:

A handy dandy flowchart for the layman:

Enjoy.

I guess Frostheim of the Warcraft Hunters Union (http://www.warcrafthuntersunion.com/), has some solid overviews of each spec individually. I believe this to be a good source also:

Beast Mastery:

Survival:
http://www.warcrafthuntersunion.com/2010/10/survival-sv-hunter-patch-4-0-1-talents-rotation-and-glyphs/

Marksman:

Also, word on the street is that at 85 all three hunter specs are very close in dmg. At the moment I would expect Survival and BM to be a little lower than MM due to lack of "Cobra Shot" (the Chimera shot equivalent for those specs). It's also said that MM has a relatively high skill cap in comparison to Surv and BM.

Another thing to note on that flowchart (which isn't stated). Is that on the right side of the chart, the pets with a dashed border are referring to Exotic pets. A BM hunter would want to take the Exotic archetype when available due to extra bonuses they provide. Eg. The healing debuff for the Devilsaur (not sure how useful that would be in a raid situation) or the Healing ability from Spirit Beast.

Also, another thing to clarify is that the pet damage has been "normalized" so all pets have a same dps basic attack they use. The only "extra dps" pets if you will, would be the Worm and Chimaera for their small aoe's.

For the most part, the only thing you are focusing now on is which buffs to bring to the raid.

Found another guide on the 4.0.1 Hunter specs, rotations, glyphs etc.

Pretty well written, and fairly in depth.
