450 Elixir Master
Hello, my name is Dan and I'm 20 years old. First off, let me say, I was just hacked (last week) and I am still waiting to get the 4 pieces of PVE gear they sold on me back. Blizzard emailed me saying it could take upto 15 days. In place of those 4 pieces, I am using my pvp gear -_-.
Anyway. I've been playing WoW for about 4 years on and off. I started raiding seriously at 60, literally the day my warlock dinged 60. I got into the best guild on the server because they needed a lock for Twin Emps. I wiped on C'thun with them for about a month, while I plowed through BWL and got geared to the teeth.
I left that guild to raid with friends and actually progress through the raids instead of just be plowed through. I had the best of both worlds. #1 guild on the server, and literally what could have been the worst guild on the server. I chose to stick with the latter. Progression is just more fun. Being a robot every week wasnt fun. I didnt PVE at all when BC dropped. To be honest, I hated that expansion. I stopped playing completely quite a few times during BC. Lich King shed new life on WoW for me. I hit 80 on my priest and rerolled a DK, which I raided with until not too long ago.
WoW is my first MMO, I was never into them until I got addicted to this. I cant say offhand I have been in a pug with any members of KoS. I have vent, and a working mic. I'm always on this guy, but my alts names are Contracts and Sevien.
Yes. The raiding schedule works well with what I am used to. As of late my schedule at work has been a little hectic, but I'm pretty confident I will still be able to make much more than 80% off the raids
I hate being online myself. I like logging on with a whole bunch of people in guild chat or even vent so I can talk, the game just isn't fun without friends (note: my friends all quit during bc).
I have progressed through what could arguably be considered the hardest instances WoW has ever seen (AQ40 and Vanilla Naxx) Tell me something once, I got it. While I know basically all the fights in ICC, I have yet to see Sindragosa and the Lich King. But I do know how the fights work and I plan on seeing them soon. :D
I've never had an issue with my computer crapping out during raids, I'm usually at ~100 ms and I haven't seen my fps drop below 30 even on fights such as Marrowgar.
I heard of KoS from my friend Ravent. He and I started up a 10 man guild not so long ago, and we both realized it just isn't worth the trouble. I am looking to go in, get the job done, every week. No waiting around for people to show up, I want to join a well organized guild, and we both feel that this is it.
Throughout the life of my priest...I've been on the fence between Shadow and Disc. I have a disc off spec, but as time has passed, Shadow is and will always be my spec. (unless you need me to switch for fights, or we are short a healer) I raid 13/0/58 Shadow. I use Event Horizon to keep on top of my rotation. I dont use many other addons for raiding besides DBM. I like the stock feel.
I know all the fights up to Sindy. Although this character doesn't have achieves for past Putricide, trust me, I've been there. As for Sindy and the LK, I have watched videos, and done my homework. I am ready to become a Kingslayer.
I have raided hardcore in the past, and I know how it is. If I dont pull my own weight, not only will the raid be mad at me, but I will be mad at myself. I come to raids prepared and ready to give it my all. I will have no problem at all stepping down if asked to.
I accept the fact that I am not perfect. I make mistakes, everyone does. Let me know when I do, and it wont happen again.
I look forward to raiding with you guys :)
