I had a razer diamondback back when I played rf and really like the side programable buttons (once I got used to them). However, eventually the right mouse button (for right clicking) became stuck/ hard to click and I could no longer use it for gaming.
I am looking for a $50 or less mouse, and saw they have a new one:

Anyone have one of these? or any recommendations for good mice with buttons in that range?
We were just talking bout my new mouse the other night. Here is the wired version of it, I know its a tad out of the price range you were looking for.

*correction* Found it on newegg.com for 49.99 10 bucks cheaper than Razers site.

I will do more research later, thanks. How is the clicking noise on that mouse? I would prefer a quiet one, but it's not a huge deal. This would include the scroll wheel sound when spinning it.. just curious.

check out the Microsoft Razer Habu Mouse. Just bought it and its way better than the Razer equivalent. awsome mouse and really really really great gaming. got used to the mouse after a few hours of playing CoD4/5 :)
oh, btw i used my old one for over 10 years now haha

How loud is the clicking on it?
Well mine (Mamba) is average on the right and left button clicks, not loud imo. As for scrolling it makes no noise at all which is nice. My G7 mouse the scroll was pretty loud.
I can't say on the model I linked, just been told its the wired equilvant to the Mamba.

I personally use a Razer Copperhead. Its pretty much the upgraded version of the diamondback. Uses 2000Dpi Laser instead of the 1800dpi infrared sensor. It is very very good.

I've used a UK website as I don't really know any of the big UK computer hardwere sites.
Razer have even released a new mouse, a wireless version of the copperhead I think.

hate me, but I use this one

I like the contours of this particular mouse, good side buttons for my thumbs so i can keybind them to whatever. (one of which i use for vent, so you have an extra key on ur keyboard to use for gaming)
it seems to work very well with FPS as well, I'm an avid CS player and this has a pretty good DPI pickup.
neat little trinket.
