So a week and change after downing Mag, we have doen a few SSC runs and finally after griefing ourselves (Should have been killed him) and some grief from Blizzard on a perfect attempt that the transition never occured no matter where took him, we FOCUSED, finally.

Yes. It feels good to have him down. Now If we can focus like this every Raid, there is no telling how far we can go.

Special big up goes out to Thwimp who has been one of our two MTs guiding us and leading us through who had disconnect issues tonight. We love you bro and this one is for you.

Fagtheridon Down

Well after losing quite a few people to Iraq deployment and a few to real life and summer and school which set us back in progress, we finally filled the holes and began to push once more. This past Wednesday, End result, after 3 weeks of trying, one to two days a week. Fagtheridon went down. Expect an addition to this blog real soon for Hydross.

Quick Update. Well havent updated in a while so lets not make it too quick.

After our early success in Karazhan. We basically split teh group and started to work on getting good enough raiders to do two and then possibly three kara groups. fater a few weeks of just concentrating on recruiting and trialing new members, here are the results.

3 Karazhan Groups running. Newest group started a week ago. 2 Groups on Nightbane. third Group is on Aran. The groups are Thimp and the Revolution featuring Dilaudid the Sexy Diva, our top group, followed by Oni's Dysfunctional Family and Morguile's group has yet to be named. After refining our groups and getting members and pallies to 70 etc , we went this past saturday to try out maulgar and get the pull down. We didnt have all the classes we needed but wanted to get the pull down.

After about 5 tries we felt we had the pull pretty much down pat and we called it as our last 2 pallies would be 70 during the week.

We went back in Sunday 3/25 and well the results were we one shotted maulgar and proceeded to get Gruul to 40% on our thirdd try through 15 grows. We did this no consumables what soever and well we know for a fact with a few class adjustments and consumables Gruul will die on our next Gruul's Lair Raid day.

To summarise , this week and last we oneshotted Prince, Maulgar, Nightbane all with our first times reaching them and nearly one shot Gruul. Watchout now, we are on the rise

We have formed what we think is a pretty good group of players and we intend to push very hard starting this week and take it all to the limit now that the pieces are in place.

And a question for you al lreading this. What if Bears had Balls that swung while they danced? What would that look like? Screenshots of a Ballsy Bare who is for Tank soon.

First Full Raid Week in Karazhan.

Well after last week only going to Karazhan on 2 days, we finally had our first full Raid week in there this past week. We went from Attumen thru Illhoof without much problems. We are currently on Shade of Aran who we have presently gotten down to 30%. He and the rest should die this Raid week for sure and hell we may even clear the place. On another front we are attempting to put together our second full Karazhan Raid group and basically make 2 perma Kara groups as we formulate our new Raid Team. We are Recruiting. If you are skilled and have tons of playtime, go put in an app and run some 5 man heroic modes iwth us so we can test your skill and see if you can fit in with what we are looking for. Within the next 2 weeks we intend to complete karazhan and Push into Gruul's Lair and get our Raid team attuned for Serpentshire Caverns, The first 25 man raid in the vein of the Old multi tier, multi boss 40 mans.

KoS: The Burning Crusade

A Crusade to be a lot better than we were. Apparently we killed some shit in Karazhan.Our First week in Karazhan and we Killed the first 4 Bosses. Killed 3 on one day and one on the other. Got Curator down to 30%. He dies next week and much more.

Oh we did not get the kill shot of Attumen but he was dead so fast we forgot. Basically killed everything second or third try. Hopefully we clear most of the instance our next Raid day. We also got Curator down to 30% Not bad for fast Called Raids, 2 days at the end of the Raid week. We will be more prepared next week and look forward to going much much further.

Bug Family KoSed! or KILT?

Yes, KILT! And our on our first reall attempts ever too, not bad at all considering about 1/4 of the Raid was new to it.

Lol anyways. After getting Sartura to 25 ish percent some weeks ago a lot of things changed. Not just for us but Guilds across WoW. Big news of the impending expac circulated and after seeing expac loot raid attendance went to crap as many people figured Raids were a waste right now, so for about 3 weeks we did nothing but BWL . We sat and tried to figure if we should bother recruiting with expac so close (It was projected to be released in November).

This past week Blizz announced that expac is pushed back to January and well we went back to recruiting to fill some missing spots and to get back to Raiding till at least the end of the year. Our first week back to full Raiding, we swept through BWL, had attendance issues on our first Night of AQ40 but gave it a go with about 30 anyway and got some skeram love and practice in. We went back tonight with about 35 ish people and spanked Skeram and then went on down to the Bug Trio and well slaughtered the family.

Now to see what attendance looks like for next week to try make some serious pushes in AQ40 and see what we can get done.

KoS WoW - The Third Frontier Begins

So now after all that has happened clearing Rag, clearing Nef and we spend our first week in AQ40. We spent our first 2 Raid Days this week clearing BWL. Our second day we had a couple hours to spare but we had to have a meeting and do the good old guild stuff.

Our first Night in AQ40 we took down Skeram and then Gave Sartura two pulls to get our Strat ready. Our Second night in on our Last Raid day of this week, we went Hard at Sartura and got her to 28%. She will die this next Raid week and we are positive that we WILL be taking down Fankriss too.

Stay tuned. The Steam is pumping and the KoS AQ40 Train is moving down the tracks.

KoS WoW - The Second Journey is Complete

Once again After getting to Nef again in Early August and we had some key Players leave the Guild or quit the game and we buckled down once again and did some recruiting. This time instead of 6 to 8 weeks, we got back to Nef in 2 short weeks.

We did not give up. KoS never does. Early September.We got the new guys geared up. Had some key players in Windhammer and Ironhand reroll to Prot warriors. Sinic pushed for HighWarlord. We picked up Phrost, a Thundefury Warrior and our other resident first HWL, Deamia. Now we were set on skilled Warriors to accompany the other players that we had kept who were pretty skilled.

2 weeks later, September 21st and we are over the hump and have killed Nefarian. Now we move to AQ40. The KoS Pain Train is rolling. Move Bitch Get out the Way.

KoS WoW - The Journey

We have come a long ways and have yet a ways to go. From thinking WoW would only be aboput PVP to several Guild splits including the last one when we were at Nefarian and would and should have had him down a few months ago to the present day.

We finally feel like after being around so long and feeling our way and stumbling at times that we finally understand what the game requires to be where we want to be. Hence all our recruitment policies and Guild membership Policies in WoW have changed. Our DKp system has changed.

Some of these chnages could have gone into place a long long time ago and I know there are a lot of past members who suggested much of what we do today. For some points we did nto see the Light till a little late and for others we were right on track. In some ways I regret some things due to people wel ost over them and in some things I do not as it has lead to the great bunch of players we have now.

Basically in 6 to 8 short weeks after flushing the Guild of the guys who we felt held us back, did not Raid enough or just did not care about our progress, we again find ourselves back at Nefarian. This time in a few tries we have been to Phase 2 and he should be down shortly and we KoS will continue to fight our way up the Ranks of WoW.

The New Arthas as I now dub it has a lot to offer. We have had a slight upgrade and are getting some good players to choose from and we are now killing all the Green Dragons etc in our gearing up for AQ40.

KoS marches on. We have overcome and we will make our presence felt finally.
